What if you could create your heart's desires in your mind? How about seeing something before you actually touch it. Adam and Eve lived in a place of bliss; they lacked nothing and all they needed was provided for. It was beautiful; a realm full of heaven. Each day, God would walk with them and talk with them in the cool of the day. No effort was needed, life was good. They had a routine with God. Everything was peaceful. They were spoiled! Adam and Eve put forth no thought or effort because God did everything for them.

However, after the fall, things changed. After the fall, man is now required to participate in the relationship with God. It is now a requirement for you to relate with Him and to choose Him. Man could have sought God for reconciliation, but they were lazy, why? because they were used to Him doing it all. If you want more, desire more. We must desire God. You have to want Him and be willing to draw close to Him. We must put forth effort! This was different for Adam and Eve and not what they were used to. It was possible but would now require them to use their imagination to get to this place with God.

Just like any parent, Adam shared the stories of the Garden with Cain and Abel. Cain and Abel felt the emotions and the bliss as Adam shared his encounters and experiences then. Now, for the first time, we see offerings being offered and God coming down to connect with them. He even let them know if He accepted their offerings or rejected them. God was not allowing anything to be brought to Him, but, they still weren't able to duplicate those experiences before the fall.

It wasn't until later in the lineage when Enoch came along. Enoch heard the stories of the Garden. He felt the emotions and the bliss as well, He desired God, he pursued Him. He set Him and made Him his priority, then he took it a step further and tapped into the imagination of Adam's stories and began to visualize what it was like, thought on it constantly, became obsessed, and talked about it and pursued a deeper relationship with God. He meditated on what it must have felt like, looked like, the sounds, the colors, etc. Enoch would reminisce on the memories of Adam so much that he tapped into another dimension and began to walk with God.

This shows you the power of your mind. Your imagination can bring things to life, in fact, it is one of the best tools for you to use to prepare for your future. I like to use this example; when you decide to bake a cake, you’ve already CREATED the cake in your mind before you've actually made it in the kitchen. You've already decided the flavor, the icing, how many layers, the ingredients, the bakeware you’ll need, and thought about how long it will take.

When you create things in your imagination, you are being just like God. God created everything in His imagination and then spoke it in Genesis 1:3. Using your imagination is operating like God the Father. It allows you to travel to places before you step into the door. You have to visualize the things of God to desire before they become a reality. Take time today to follow these five steps to produce the future you desire by using and stretching the boundaries of your imagination.

1.Visualization – See yourself already living the life you desire.

2.Write it down – Make the vision plain and read over it every day.

3.Meditation – Take time to remind yourself of God's promises that affirm your future.

4.Speak it – Declare the life you will have and call it forth.

5.Study your desired outcome and educate yourself about everything you desire.
